Dr. Francois Bessay
Dr. Bessay grew up in France. You might have guessed this by his never disappearing accent. The son of two dentists, he always knew what his future profession would be. After obtaining his DCD diploma in Paris, he worked there briefly, but only to be able to come to Canada to join his then girlfriend, Nadia.
He had fallen in love with the country (as well) during his many visits over the years. He opened Quaker Dental Clinic in 1991 and has never regretted following his calling to become a dentist. To this day, he enjoys his new dental “toys”. Read about his beloved Cerec machine and what he can do with it! He still loves his profession and is very grateful to his patients for allowing him to be a part of their health journey.
Uxbridge has become his home in every way. He could always be found on stage at the Music Hall or with uxperience in the high school (before Covid), as well as coaching soccer and track and field. He has volunteered in many capacities over the years and is now the president of the 100 men in Uxbridge, an organization that chooses a worthy local cause for donations every month.
When not working or volunteering, he loves to run marathons, adventure races with his family, camping and canoeing, travelling (often to France to visit his mom). Most of all, he loves to spend time with his family and friends.
